POS

Point of sale for the harbour

The till runs on an iPad and meets the German requirements for a certified technical security device. Receipts land in the same system as berths and jobs.

On the iPad, at the pontoon as much as in the office

Diesel, electricity, shower tokens, a spare part from the store: you take payment where the guest is standing. The iPad is the till, and whatever is booked on it appears immediately in the same case as that customer’s berth and workshop job.

  • Take payment at the pontoon, not in the office
  • Certified security device requirement met
  • One customer, one case, one invoice

Records that stand up to an audit

Whatever is taken is filed — traceable, unalterable and in the form the tax office and your accountant expect. Your accountant gets their export without anybody at the harbour retyping a thing.

  • GoBD-compliant document archiving
  • E-invoicing: ZUGFeRD and XRechnung
  • DATEV export for your accountant

No second program

A standalone till means a second set of data, a second login and a manual reconciliation at the end of the month. Here the till is a view onto the same customers and the same cases that berth management and the harbour ERP use.

Frequently asked questions

What does Pier Standard cost?
A monthly fee that scales with the size of the harbour. No setup fee, no development costs, no one-off payment. On top of that a 10 % share, but only on berths sublet through Pier Standard — when the harbour earns, Pier Standard earns. We name the figure in the demo, because it depends on how many berths you have.
Where is our data held?
On servers in Germany, encrypted, with real-time backups. Processing is GDPR-compliant with a data processing agreement, and document storage follows the German GoBD rules. E-invoices go out as ZUGFeRD and XRechnung, and there is a DATEV export for your accountant.
Do we need new hardware?
The admin side runs in the browser, on the office computer just as well as on a tablet at the pontoon. The till adds an iPad; it meets the German requirements for a certified technical security device.
